Prayers to trust God

Trouble and distress have come upon me, but your commands give me delight. Psalm 119:143

Here’s what you can do with that delight:
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4

Ladies and Gentlemen, PRAISE God in the storm. I’m not sure what you’re battling, but God knows. Not only does He know what you’re struggling with, He knows the whole equation. He knows what will happen in three weeks, six months, 9 years. TRUST Him. Trust Him. Trust Him. Take delight in His commands, and you’ll have joy, even when you’re facing trouble and distress.

Lord, I pray that your children lean into you. That they invite your presence in their dwelling places, so they may lean into you more. You are so faithful, God, and I trust you when you say that you’ll respond to them. As your people trust you, God, I ask that you move in their favor. Bless them with the Godly desires of their hearts. For those aching for a spouse, for a family, or for employment, I ask that you shine your glory on them and deliver their requests.

Father God, your people are in trouble. We have so much distraction and noise going on around us, please bless what little faith we have. Build us up in your image. Not so that we may boast or be prideful, but so that we may have BOLDNESS and CONFIDENCE to rise up and shine His light.

I pray that anyone who has not trusted you with their life, or who has not accepted you as their Savior, proclaiming they will forever live for you, that they will have the boldness and confidence to do so right now: Lord we are sinners; we admit that we need you and cannot live our lives without you. We give up our efforts to be our own gods, and ask you to be our only light, our breath, our heartbeat, our God. We accept you as our Lord and our Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank you for the miracle exchange you give, which is beauty for ashes. We love you, Lord.

In His holy name, amen.

“Humble yourself before the Lord, and He will lift you up.” James 4:10
